Both OCCA Volumetric Offsite and OCCA Hybrid Offsite are steel based offsite solutions. By having 30 plus years of design and manufacturing experience in structural steel projects, OCCA enjoys a unique position in the industry. From day one structural design and architectural design go hand in hand and this approach prevents clashes between structural design and architectural design. OCCA also makes sure that structural engineering reports are submitted to and stamped by an engineer of record registered at project destination. The design office also has considerable experience in designing steel structures for USA and Europe markets

OCCA Facade Panels

OCCA Façade Panels are offsite manufactured energy efficient exterior wall panels that are steel framed. They have all layers necessary for high performance façade systems including:

  • continuous water insulation,
  • continuous air and moisture barrier,
  • integral decorative and protective finish options including render, brick, natural stone, metal and concrete look,

The panels are lightweight and as they are steel framed they can come in very large sizes. Window frames and glasses are both installed at factory and this eliminates a lot of site works, in turn reducing project delivery time, likewise reducing crane usage or eliminating need for scaffolding.

All architectural details that are necessary to achieve higher aesthetics and quality are considered, detailed and necessary materials are provided within the façade system.

The Panels are in full compliance with codes for testing, building and energy efficiency

Building Code Compliance (NFPA 282 and NFPA 268)
IBC 2009, 2012 and 2015 including:

  • Fire Resistance Rated Construction
  • Weather Resistance
  • Structural – Transverse Wind Load Resistance

IECC 2009, 2012 and 2015:

  • Continuous Insulation (ci) over Metal
  • Continuous Air Barrier
  • Energy Conservation, Efficiency and

Energy Standards Compliance: ASHRAE 90.1 – 2007, 2010 and 2013

  • Building Envelope Continuous Insulation
  • Continuous Air Barrier

Green Building Standards Compliance: ASHRAE 189.1 – 2009

OCCA Bathroom Pods

Bathrooms are one of the most value-added areas of buildings. In bathrooms, the need for design coordination is very high and the number of materials that are involved in construction are many. Factory installed bathroom pods eliminate a lot of site related coordination issues, reduce material waste at large and of course streamline the design process.

OCCA bathroom pods are delivered to site as 3D modules with finished interiors including mechanical, plumbing and electrical works. All design and application related issues are dealt with at very early stages through 3D design and constant information sharing with the Client. Through material submittals OCCA ensures code compliant materials are selected for production. Production of each bathroom pod is also closely monitored through project specific technical file that details how the quality control will be handled.

OCCA’s architectural team also supports clients for both developing design alternatives and suggesting material substitutes. Turkish tile and sanitary ware industry is one of the largest in the world thanks to well established suppliers that offers high quality products and trendy designs. Concerning bathroom fixtures, many international brands have established production and distribution base in Turkey and this eliminates warranty and service concerns.
