In accordance with the definition of modular bathrooms, all the components of the OCCA Bathroom Pods, from the wall and floor construction to sanitary ware and accessories, including mechanical and plumbing equipment, are assembled in controlled factory conditions. OCCA Bathroom Pods attains higher quality and precision in details and interior finishes, when compared to in situ bathrooms. The appearance of the bathroom pod is not different from the traditional bathroom. However, there is an advantage of OCCA Bathroom Pods in the consistent quality of the finishes and precise details, typical for the products coming from manufacturing processes.
The structural base of the OCCA Bathroom Pods is manufactured from bolted C-shaped, U-shaped steel profiles for its walls and ceiling, and welded box sections used for floors to give a rigid base to the whole unit. By applying appropriate materials for insulation and boarding, any national and international standard for load-bearing capacity, acoustic performance and fire resistance can be attained. The standard total floor thickness is 70-100 mm, in order to align the bathroom´s floor level with the building´s floor level. Special solutions are developed when necessary.
